A mysterious businessman arrives to sponsor a champion figure skater who has been followed by the FBI ever since her mother's disappearance.

Production[edit]

Lund, who has a background in figure skating as a magazine publisher and TV analyst, wrote Serpentine after attending the 2016 World Figure Skating Championships in Boston.[3] To develop interest in the feature he produced the first ten pages of the script.[4] Principal photography began on October 30, 2016 and wrapped on November 6, 2016. The short was filmed at Northstar IceSports in Westboro, MA, The Crown Plaza in Natick, MA and a private residence in Sturbridge, MA.[5]

After its world premiere at The Strand Theatre, Serpentine: The Short Program was released on Amazon Prime[6] and the Ice Network[7] on March 7, 2017.
