Dr. Seshu K M R (P. V. Seshu Kumar).[1], from Hyderabad, developed an instant connection with music at a very early age. Post his Graduation (BCOM) Osmania University “96, PG in Systems management from NIIT “98 and started his musical journey as a Music composer and Sound Engineer. He worked in Hyderabad and Mumbai for a good amount of time to sharpen his skills. However, his passion for music & recording arts made him a Sound Designer and Music Composer[2]. Composing devotionals, jingles and spots for AIR Hyderabad and other corporate companies in initial years gave him immense experience. An award for Best girl child jingle and ad spot 2005-06 from UNICEF and Prasar Bharati got recognition to him.
His vast experience gave him the grip of technical knowhow and expertise in Recording arts & Music. Flowsound is the brainchild of Seshu KMR, a result of his vision, a decade of research and hard work. It is a very rare combination of music and sound with latest technology, a path breaking system of performing and recording arts. With his team of music programmers and audio professionals his last few years were dedicated to build and execute the Flowsound system. This is a unique sound management procedure, which could change the course of global filmmaking[3] and music, audio production.
Career
Seshu started his career as music composer in 2002, along with which he also made his mark in film making where he is involved as director besides music and sound design with featured films, web series and the latest sensation Kala, a music video which has been acclaimed as the best movie video award by Rajasthan International Film Festival[4]
His initial successes that got noticed for his work are Ram Gopal Varma's films like Ice Cream, Anukshanam, Ab Tak Chhappan 2 and Killing Veerappan[5] and is signed on to collaborate on more films.
Early Years
His foray into Telugu films started with Nee Thodu Kavali (2002). The audio received appreciation from all quarters of music lovers and also topped the charts. Simultaneously, the passion in content development and multimedia post- production made Seshu KMR spend the last 16 years producing content in terms of Audio, Music and Background score for various films, documentaries, radio and television and also developing mobile content for top mobile companies in India.
In his career as a Sound Designer and Music Composer the breakthrough came when Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma recognised the revolutionary Flowsound[6][7] and understood its impact on the future of world cinema. It was by this cognitive intuition that Flowsound was first commercially introduced to Indian cinema in 2014 in the film Ice Cream and followed by Ab Tak chappan-2 (Hindi feature film) by the acclaimed filmmaker RGV. It changed the way Indian film industry[8] looked at Music and Sound design.
Recognitions
In 2015, Flowsound was recognised and awarded a world record from amazing world records and Telugu world records.
Seshu KMR’s Flowsound procedure was presented as thesis to United Theological Research University (Accredited to University of Berkeley, USA). He was awarded H.Phd in May 2016 for his remarkable research and innovation.
After 2 decades in the entertainment industry involved and skilled in different crafts of film making finally Seshu KMR directed his debut feature film called 127B the first Horror comedy film in Deccan films (Hyderabadi Film) which released in Dec 2017 and won critical acclaim and positive reviews.
Craft and Style
As a native to the Film and Entertainment industry, Seshu KMR’s vision for Flowsound system is to grow Digitally and spread it across Hollywood and worldwide. He now seeks the apt support from Indian Film industry for this Path breaking system, which is already endorsed, by Telugu Film industry.
Yet another feather in the cap of Dr Seshu is the creation of bio-acoustics[9]. This is basically a series of virtually realistic call sequences which has found a significant benefit in the agriculture industry and in wildlife conservation. The objective behind this technology is to minimise the impact of wildlife and animals in the natural and agricultural environments and benefit the farming sector. This is blended with the Flowsound technology and has made its presence felt strongly amongst scientists, agriculturists, industries. This has now caught the attention of the government bodies as well and they are working on implementing this technology.

Present
Presently, Dr Seshu is involved in three projects[17] (besides music and sound design)[18]- A feature film titled dead are Alive, Kala[19][20] and two web series. Among them, ‘Deccan Mafia’ is a prestigious Web Series[21], which is being planned on a large scale. A year and a half was spent on designing the whole content for this project and it has completed its research and development phase. It is currently in the screenplay process. The feature film is in the story development stage while the other web series has entered into production.
Some interesting projects are being done in collaboration with the esteemed entity Ram Gopal Varma’s Company, 24 frames factory, spark OTT, AHA OTT and Sillymonks Entertainment. Seshu feels glad to have associated with them given their clear understanding of the filmmaker’s vision and their competency to enhance the output of these projects.
