Setareh Najfar-Nahvi studied violin at the Tehran University of Art from 1978 to 1983. After that, she continued her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in the class of Michael Schnitzler. Subsequently, she was awarded a scholarship by the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport, lasting from 1987 to 1989.[1]

This new arrangment was created by Reza Najfar and is considered the first complete performance of the piece since its premiere in 1910.[3] The performance took place in December of 2017 in the Brahmsaal of the Musikverein.[4]
