Jazz saxophonist Jack Boniface becomes infected by a spirit that allows him otherworldly abilities and fights denizens of the Deadside.

Development[edit]
On October 20, 1999, Ice Cube was set to produce a Shadowman movie with Artisan Entertainment, but the rights lapsed.[1] On June 13, 2017, Reginald Hudlin was set to direct from a story cocreated by Hudlin and Adam Simon, with Simon writing the script with J. Michael Straczynski, who is producing with Sean Daniel, Jason Brown and Dinesh Shamdasani.[2]
