Anushae Gill (Urdu: انوشا گل) known professionally as Shae Gill, is a Pakistani singer born and raised in Lahore. She recently gained a lot of attention after her song 'Pasoori', which has become a popular song in Pakistan and India,[1] It was part of Coke Studio (Pakistan) Season 14, and featured Ali Sethi.[2][3]

Early life and education[edit]
She was born and raised in Lahore and She spent her childhood in the city of Karachi. Gill was a student at Forman Christian College. It was there that one of her friends motivated her to start an Instagram page to share videos of herself singing in May 2019.[5] She first gained recognition for her performance of Faiz Ahmed Faiz's Aaj Bazaar Mai, which she recorded for Womanistan, a local feminist publication.[6][7]
shae gill studies in the university of lahore and lives in the same hostel shae gill has not told which study she is doing but shae gill told that when she was in university she used to sing something and her friend Advised her to create an Instagram page, after which she used to make videos in hostels and put them on Instagram for both the time pass.
