Shaheen has worked in superhit films like Maha-Sangram (1990) and Ayee Milan Ki Raat (1991).
Shaheen is the niece of Bollywood actress Saira and actor Dilip Kumar. Shaheen is the daughter of Sultan Ahmed, Saira's brother. Shaheen married actor Sumeet Saigal in 1990. They have a daughter, Sayyeshaa, who works in south Indian films. On 10 March 2019, Sayyeshaa married popular Malayalam and Tamil actor Arya, also known as Jamshad Cethirakath.[1]
