Shaji Choudhary[2] (born July 7, 1982) is an Indian actor who works in Bollywood films.[3][4][5] Shaji made his first Bollywood appearance in the 2004 film Main Hoon Na. Later, he appeared in films like Ashutosh Gowarikar's historical-drama Jodhaa Akbar, Rajkumar Hirani's comedy-drama PK and action-adventure Thugs Of Hindostan. Shaji rose to fame after starring in Amazon Prime Video's crime-drama series Mirzapur (TV series)[6] Upcoming Project "Pathan" starrer Shah Rukh Khan producing by YRF.
Early life and background[edit]
Chaudhary was born in village Dodwari, district Tonk Rajasthan to Roopnarayan Choudhary and Rampyari Choudhary.[7] When Shaji was ten years old, he shifted in Jaipur with his elder brother.[7] Shaji completed schooling from St.Soldiers and done college from Rajasthan university.[7] Shaji has four brothers and a sister.
Career[edit]
Chaudhary Started his acting career with a TV serial Shaktiman (Second season) on DD1 as in negative role character name was kilwish (The role of Kilwish portrayed by Surendra Pal in Season one). Shaji made his first Bollywood appearance in the 2006 Hindi film Husn Bewafa which went unnoticed. In 2008, Shaji got to work alongside Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan when the director Ashutosh Gowariker signed him to play the character of Akbar’s general Adham Khan in the historical drama Jodhaa Akbar. Later, Shaji featured in Shaurya Aur Suhani, a romantic soap opera in which he essayed a minor role. In 2014 Shaji as Tapasvi Maharaj’s bodyguard in movie PK. Shaji cast as Maqbool Khan in Mirzapur (TV series) as Kaleen Bhaiya's (Pankaj Tripathi) trusted henchman.[8]

Shaji is married to Subdhara Choudhary and is a father of two children.
