Shakhmurat Mutalip (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.; born 18 September 1990) is a Kazakhstani businessman and the President of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation.[1]
Biography
Education
Mutalip graduated from Turan University in 2012 with a degree in Regional Studies. In 2014, he obtained a master's degree in Economics from the same university. He also pursued further studies at the Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia.
Career
Mutalip began his professional career in 2008 at Bent LLP as a mechanic, eventually rising to the position of First Vice President, where he worked until 2015. From 2016 to 2017, he served as Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Kazakhselmash Concern” LLP, and from 2017 to 2020 was an independent director at “IST Group” LLP. In 2020, he became General Director of “Integra Construction KZ” LLP, and since 2022 has been a participant and beneficial owner of the company. On 5 February 2024, during the annual conference of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation held in Astana, Mutalip was elected President of the Federation.[2]
Public activity
One of the notable achievements during his presidency was the performance of the Kazakhstan national boxing team at the World Boxing Championship in Liverpool, where the team took first place in the overall standings.[3] The gold medalists were congratulated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who later presented them with state awards.[4]
Personal life
Mutalip is married to Balzhan Mutalip, and they have three children.
