Shameem Sayedee is a Bangladeshi Islamist, politician and businessman who is the current chairman of Allama Sayedee Foundation, Darul Quran Siddikia Kamil Madrasah, Darul Ummah Trust.[1]
Early life and Family
Shameem Sayedee was born on January 1, 1972, in Sayed khali, Indurkani, Balipara, Pirojpur in the division of Barisal in Bangladesh. He belongs to a notable Bengali Muslim political family in Sayed khali, Indurkani, Pirojpur District. His father Allama Delawar Hossain Sayedee (died of heart disease on August 14, 2023)[2] was a world-renowned preacher of the Quran & former MP and his mother Begum Saleha Sayedee is a housewife. They have four sons – Rafiq bin Sayedee (died of heart disease in 2012),[3], Masood Sayedee and Nasim Sayedee.
