Shane Neman

Shane Neman is an American entrepreneur and author. He is the founder of Neman Ventures, a family business that invests in real estate projects. Neman has led businesses, including Joonbug, a pioneer in the digital events space and EZ Texting, a player in the mobile marketing industry.[1] [2][3]

He is also the author of the book titled ''Nightlife Lessons: How I Conquered the Business of Partying with Tech and a Glimpse into Its Future.''

Education

Shane Neman graduated with a degree in Computer Science from New York University (NYU), where he also studied pre-med.[4]

Entrepreneurship

Joonbug

In the early 2000s Neman founded Joonbug, a software-driven events company. The company produced over 300 large-scale events per year with over $25 million in annual revenue before being sold to a competitor.[2][5]

EZ Texting

Neman launched EZ Texting, a web-based SMS marketing platform designed to offer businesses direct, efficient communication with consumers in 2006. The platform rapidly became one of the largest business SMS services in the United States. Neman grew EZ Texting to seven-figure annual revenues leading to its acquisition by CallFire in 2013. Following the acquisition, Neman took the Chief Product Officer and Director of Corporate Development position where he spearheaded mergers and acquisitions.[6]

Neman Ventures

With Neman Ventures, Neman became a strategic advisor, focusing on technology startups, particularly in SaaS, artificial intelligence and quantum computing. Notable investments include FigureAI, SandboxAQ, Impossible Foods, Graphcore and more. His real estate and private equity investments include Pacific Park at the Santa Monica Pier, The Racquet Lounge Southampton (NY), Marriott Residence in Boca Raton (FL), Watchtower Dumbo (NY), One Mission Bay (San Francisco, CA), Standard Life Building (Pittsburgh, PA), and more.[7][8][9]
