Shashidal Union High School (Bengali: শশীদল ইউনিয়ন উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) is a school in Comilla, a city in Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest schools in the country.[1] It was founded in 1935 by Zamindar Babu Tarak Chandra Chowdhury
History
The school was initially established by Babu Tarak Chandra Chowdhury in 1890, and formally established in 1935.[2] After the partition of India, the education system of the school was changed once more. At present, the school is a secondary high school with grades ranging from 6 to 10, each having four branches: A, B, C and D. The school currently has approximately 2500 students and 17 teachers.[3]
