Shaun Klet (born Sanjib Kalita Assamese সঞ্জীৱ কলিতা, 16 March 1988) is a music promoter and blogger known for his portal IndianMusicMug.[1] and an Artist manager.[2][3][4]
Early Life
Shaun was born in Guwahati. He started his career as a struggling organizer on the independent music circuit during his graduation from Gauhati Commerce College in 2009. In 2016 he organized his first concert featuring Michael Angelo Batio. In 2011 he released a free downloadable metal compilation 'Metal Hangover 0.1' where he featured Indian, Australian and American bands which received excellent reviews.[5][6]
Career
He started his blog and organizing events while studying at college, i.e. 2010, with David Koch as his mentor. He left his job as a banker to pursue music. Since 2012 he has worked with Metropolis Asia as an artist and production manager. In 2016 he started a live show named Thunderdome, featuring Michael Angelo Batio as headliner. He also started a campaign to stop music piracy.[7]. He worked as a music producer and artist manager for a decade for Simanta Shekhar and Simple Gogoi.
