Shawn Mendes: The Tour[1] will be the fourth major concert tour by Shawn Mendes, in support of his third studio album Shawn Mendes (2018). The tour will begin in Amsterdam at Ziggo Dome on March 7, 2019, and will conclude in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center on August 24, 2019.[2]
Background and development[edit]
After the success of the Illuminate World Tour, and the announcement of his third studio album Shawn Mendes, Mendes will headline his second arena tour. Announced on May 8, 2018, Mendes will kick off his tour in Europe with 28 shows, before continuing on to North America for 32 more shows. [3] In July 2018, Mendes announced a total of 9 shows to take place in Australia and New Zealand in October and November 2019.[4]
