Sheetal Cool Products Limited, popularly known as Sheetal Ice Cream, is an Indian company that manufactures ice cream and other milk products, frozen foods, confectionery items, and snacks. It has its headquarter and manufacturing unit in Amreli, Gujarat and a distribution network that spreads across the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Previously a private limited company, it was converted into a public limited company in 2017 and listed at Bombay Stock Exchange as an Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) in the same year.[1][2][3][4]

Sheetal Cool Products Limited started as a small paan and cold drinks shop in Amreli, Gujarat state by Lt. Jagdishbhai Dakubhai Bhuva along with his brothers.[4] After the demolition of their paan shop in the year 1987 by the municipal authorities, they ventured into the production of milk and buttermilk.[4] In 1992, the family began its operations from a unit in Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) and launched the production of ice cream in the year 1994.[4] In the year 2000, the company was launched as a sole proprietorship under the name Shree Shital Industries, which was later converted into a partnership firm in 2013.[3] The company was then converted into a private limited company with the name of Sheetal Cool Products Pvt. Ltd., and finally went public in the year 2017, under the name Sheetal Cool Products Limited and was listed at the Bombay Stock Exchange.[3] Today, the company has a network of more than 200 distributors with a retail presence in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. Bhupatbhai D.Bhuva, Dinesh Kumar D.Bhuva, Sanjay D.Bhuva, Naynaben B.Bhuva, Kajalben D.Bhuva, and Asmitaben S.Bhuva have been listed as the promoters of the company.[4]

Sheetal Cool Products Limited currently features among the top manufacturers of milk and milk products in Gujarat in terms of technology and production capacity. The company sells more than 40 flavours of ice creams and more than 50 varieties of snacks and other food products. Sheetal Cool Products Limited's plat at Amreli GIDC is spread over 86,000 square feet employing over 1,000 staff, with women accounting for almost 80% of the workforce. Sheetal is currently the largest employment generating company in Amreli district.[4]
