Shehab TV (Arabic: قناة شهاب الفضائية); is a kids television network in Iraq owned and operated by Al-Huda Cultural Foundation. It was launched on 1 October 2020.
History[edit]
Shehab TV was officially launched on 1 October 2020. The first cartoon series the channel aired was Player in the Stadiums, which was written by Fadel Abbas and directed by Jamal Al-Shati and Safa Abdi.[2]
Al-Huda Cultural Foundation is operating the channel.[3]
In June 2021, the channel announced its frequency to be on satellite Nilesat.[4][5]
First anniversary program was held in November 2021 at Cordoba Hall in the Al Mansour Hotel, which was joined by Nofal Abu Ragheef, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities and the supervisor of the Children's Culture House.[6]
