Biography[edit]
Sherboto Baatyr was a kyrgyz warrior from tribe Sarybaghysh[2][3], first son of Abaiylda uulu Cherikchi , who alongside with his siblings Törögeldi and Narboto was under leadership of north Kyrgyz tribes ruler Ormon Khan;[2] fought against Kazakh tribes under leadership of Kenesary Khan.
When Kyrgyz Khaganaty was established in 1840/1842 Sherboto was appointed to be one of the personal advisers of Ormon Khan and was appointed to be in charge of Sarybaghysh tribe economy.[1]
It is said that he made efforts to contribute in saving kyrgyz people from outside dangers and in unification of his fellow tribesmen.[3][1]
