Shhit Happens (Stylised as either 'Shhit Happens' or 'Shh!t Happens') is a brand of toilet paper, tissues, and wipes founded in Australia in 2023. The company is disability owned and led and uses a portion of its profits to fund disability entrepreneurship advocacy.
History
Shhit Happens was founded in 2023 by Australian model[1], disability advocate[2][3][4] and author Anja Christofferson.[5][6] As part of a network of disability brands co-launched by the model under the parent company WDEN.[7]
In 2024 Shhit Happens became certified as disability owned.[8]
Products
Shhit Happens toilet paper is created from FSC Certified[7], recycled paper, and each roll is also individually wrapped in recycled paper. Its toilet paper products are manufactured in Australia.[9]
