Shii Studies Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal covering research on Shi'i Islam.[1][2] The first issue of this magazine was published in the spring of 2017.[3] The executive responsibility of this publication has been assigned to Sabine Schmidtke (Professor of Islamic Intellectual History at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton) and Hassan Farhang Ansari (Professor of Islamic Law and Theology at the Institute for Advanced Study).The idea of publishing this magazine was also suggested by these two people.[4] The articles in this publication include articles related to the Twelver Shiites, the Isma'ilism Shiites, and the Zaidiyyah Shiites.[5] The language of the Journal is English and French, but Arabic and Persian texts can also be published as proofreaders.[6]
