ShipHawk a Santa Barbara-based American company that makes an eponymous transportation management system which manages and automates supply chains.[1][2]
History[edit]
The company was founded in 2012 by Jeremy Bodenhamer and Aaron Freeman. Bodenhamer was previously a pack & ship store owner that helped lead him to the problems associated with the field, especially the laborious processes involved.[3][4]
ShipHawk was among the first to have defined "Transportation Management System 2.0" as a system that is automated as well as data-driven. The system allows its users to run automated supply chains.[5]
ShipHawk is a SaaS subscription-based software company that also manufactures shipping, tracking and other related software in addition to its flagship eponymous software.[6][7]
ShipHawk was awarded the Audience Choice Award by TechCrunch Disrupt in May 2013 and TiE50 Winner TiE50 Top Startup Award at Tiecon May 2015 among various others from Silicon Beach Summit, Red Herring North America and CIO Review from 2013-2016.[8]
ShipHawk ranked #12 in the 2017 Inc 500.[9]
