Shivangi Khedkar is an Indian model and actress who is known for playing the lead in the Hindi-language television series Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali.[1]
Early life and career[edit]
Khedkar was born on 5 January 1995 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. She is a computer science engineer by profession. She eventually moved to Mumbai, Maharashtra to pursue an acting career. And she is trained Dancer and perform various dance performs like Kathak and Pole Dance. Shivangi did many ft dance covers such as Kurta Pajama, Mere Sohneya, Mohe Rang Do Laal, Man Mohini, Dhadak, etc.
She started her career as a model through various Beauty Pageants and was also featured in television commercials and print shoots. She participated in Miss Pimpri Chinchwad and won the title Miss Pimpri Chinchwad 2012. After this, she participated in Beauty Pageant Mr. and Miss Citadel Pune 2016 and she was featured on the cover pages of Citadel Wedding Special 2016, Majhi Saheli 2019, and Haute Happening 2020.
Khedkar has attained training in acting from Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares. [2]
In 2019, she made her feature film debut in the Telugu film Ashwamedham, directed by Nitin Gawde.
In 2020, Shivangi shot the promo for the Pinjara Khubsurti Ka as Dr. Mayura Dubey which went on air. However, due to creative differences, she quit the show and later Riya Sharma was cast to play Dr. Mayura Dubey. [3].
In 2021, she appeared in YouTube Short-film Single Ladka ... Dil Dhadka released by Zoom Studio.
She is currently playing the main lead Pallavi Raghav Rao[4] in Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali in Star Plus serial opposite with Sai Ketan Rao. [5]
