Shivendra Nandan[1] is a Researcher,[2][3] Indian academic books writer[4][5] and politician. He is editor in chief of Samajwadi Sanwad Magazine.[6] He is a member of several international societies (i.e. Member of International Association of Engineers) and a prestigious member of Institutions of Engineers (India). He is also host of a popular Talk Show entitled Talk Show on Mechanical Engineering.[7]
Early life
Shivendra Nandan was born in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, India. After completing his bachelor education from Delhi, he obtained his degree in Engineering with a Gold Medal from Galgotias University[8]. He worked for some multinational companies. After working in various companies in India, he joined as a young academic in India and became a research[9] scholar at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. He also contributed as an artist for the title Last Day of College.[10][11][12]
Political life
He entered politics as a member of Samajwadi Party. He works for the state minister Shri Deep Singh Pal and Minister of basic education Kailash Nath Chaurasiya Uttar Pradesh. He served as National Spokesperson for one of the party’s frontal organizations, Samajwadi Prahari.[13]
Later life
Nandan worked for Amara Raja Group and participated in National Research activities. Inspired by socialist and communist views, he joined the Samajwadi party. He completed his Bachelor of Technology with a Gold Medal[14][15] and became a Chartered Research Engineer (India) with prestigious Membership of Institution of Engineers (India). Initially he was a Member of ASHRAE, IEI student chapter, SSPI UK Chapter and Institution Innovation Council. He also became a Member of International Association of Engineers after Graduation. During his Graduation period, he started writing. His passion for writing developed from his obsession with reading.
