ٍShobra El General (Arabic: شبرا الجنرال; born Mohamed Said Hassan (محمد سيد حسن) on January 2,1991)[1], is an Egyptian singer-songwriter, performer, music producer, and musician. He was one of the earliest inventors of the modern Egyptian genre "Mahraganat[2]"[3][4], and he did an incredible job of bringing the new wave of Mahraganat music closer to people of different cultures around the world. Shobra has performed at some of the biggest music festivals in Europe, such as Nyege Nyege festival, Fusion Festival, Le Petit Bain, and many major European and African music festivals[5][6].[7][8][9] He now resides in Paris, where he shares his vision with the world through his music and exceptional performances on stage.

Shobra collaborated with different music producers that reflect the sound of Cairo such as : Molotof, Amr Haha , Sulisizer ) [10]where he released an EP with Molotof, and his first gone viral hit was "Etnen Talata" from his Album " El Fekra Ala El Drummer" released in 2018 produced by Amr Haha ( Pronounced as Amr Haaa-haa ) which exceeded 20 Million views on social media platforms. and his second hit "Fawda" with Molotof, an Egyptian music producer who worked closely with Marwan Pablo among with his biggest hits: Free, Dynamite, El-Gemeza). Shobra released a full EP with Molotof called "Asfalt ala el hadeed" in 2019 [11], his collaborations with Sulisizer also are worth mentioning, they released two music videos "Moftares", 1 January 2022 and then "Zagel" 22 July 2022 and two full EPs titled "Alam el Kott" in 2022. Shobra also collaborated with " Fifty el ostoora , Sadat El alamy " who are industry leaders in Maharaganat music in 2018.
