On 4 July 2013, five-year-old Jaden Donald was shot while playing at a park on the South Side of Chicago.[1] Jaden was shot while playing at Cooper Park around midnight. He was shot in the abdomen and the right leg. Darell E. Chambers was charged with shooting Jaden Donald, as well as shooting two other people. Darell was also denied bail.[2][3]
