Short Circuit (Gujarati: શોર્ટ સર્કિટ) is an upcoming and first ever Gujarati-language science fiction comedy-drama film directed by Faisal Hashmi.[1] written by Faisal Hashmi, Bhargav Purohit and Mohsin Chavada. The film is produced by Twilight Productions and features Dhvanit Thaker and Kinjal Rajpriya in the lead while Smit Pandya and Utkarsh Mazumdar play supporting roles.[1] The film is the first ever science fiction film in Gujarati cinema. [1]


An average computer maintenance guy, Samay (Dhvanit Thaker) gets trapped in an evil plan of a scientist. He has to fight back, to save his love and the world.[2]

Writing of the film was started in August 2017 after Faisal Hashmi finished his 2nd feature film "Daud Pakad".
