Shrikar Madiraju, (born 17 July 1975) is an Indian film director.
Early life and education[edit]
Madiraju was born in Hyderabad, India.
Career[edit]
In 2003, Madiraju wrote "Biryani and Irani chai" a collection of nine short stories and "Cafe Confuxion", a story for an animation film.[citation needed] Madiraju's first short film "Underground"[1] was well received at the 2004 New York International Independent Film Festival.[2][3] In 2004, Shrikar directed his first feature film, The Down Rising, which premiered at the Avalon Theatre in Washington D.C. and was well received by critics.[2]
Madiraju is a member of the South Asian Theater Guild.[1]
