Shyam Aryal (Nepali: श्याम अर्याल) is an active Nepali Journalist, Actor[1] known as a film journalist and presenter at Image FM 97.9.[2] Besides program hosting and producing, he is also an editor at nagariksandesh.com.[3] Currently he runs successful shows on Image FM; ‘Mechi Dekhi Mahakali Samma’ and ‘Reel and real’, 'Star on radio','Friday Release'. He presents a famous TV show 'Page 3' on Image Channel.[4]. He has also been involved in many uncredited charity and donation programmes. At present, he has been elected as Vice-President of Film Journalist Association Of Nepal.[5]
Work as VJ
Shyam Aryal's first TV show was Pokhara.com on Nepal Television from 2003-2004. His other TV programs include 'Silver Screen','Wai Wai Little Champs' and 'Top 10 Chart busters'. But he gained huge success from the show 'Page 3' on Image Channel[6] where he has interviewed many renowned celebrities from the Nepali Film Industry like Bhuwan K.C., Khagendra Lamichhane, Priyanka Karki, Dayahang Rai, Rekha Thapa, Aaryan Sigdel and many more. His other highly rated program is 'Chitrapat' which broadcasts on Nepal Television.
Work as RJ
He started his role as RJ at the famous radio channel 'Radio Annapurna'.[7] Where he continued his work from 2003 to 2006. After that he moved to one of the famous Radio Channels of Nepal 'Image FM 97.9'[8] where he has run and is running many successful programs. At present he is one of the leading RJs of Nepal.

Other Involvements
He has been involved in various live events, and is Vice President Of Film Journalist Association Nepal.[9] He has been a judge at many programs like Beauty Pageants, Movie Awards. He debuted in the Nepali Film Industry with the movie 'Producer'[10] which won him a Best Debut Actor Award.[11]. His other appearances as an actor include successful films like 'I Am Sorry'. After gaining success in the acting field he turned to be a producer.[12][13][14][15] He has also been involved in many social works.
