Sidi Salem Sports Club (Arabic: نادي سيدي سالم الرياضي), sometimes spelled Sidi Salim, is an Egyptian sports club based in Sidi Salem, Kafr El Sheikh, Egypt. The club is mainly known for its football team, which currently plays in the Egyptian Third Division, the third-highest league in the Egyptian football league system.
The club was promoted to the Egyptian Second Division for the first time in their history during the 2017–18 season of the Egyptian Third Division, after securing Group H promotion spot by earning a goalless draw with Samanoud on 14 April 2018.[1] However, the club relegated at the end of the season and suffered an immediate return to the third division.
During the qualifying rounds of the 2018–19 Egypt Cup, the club reached the fourth qualifying round and met former Egyptian Premier League side Gomhoriat Shebin on home and lost the match 3–0. This was the first time the club reached this round in their history.[2]
