Silver Creek is a former settlement in Alpine County, California. It was located on Silver Creek 5.5 miles (9 km) south-southeast of Markleeville.[1]
A post office operated at Silver Creek in 1879, from 1882 to 1890, with a closure during part of 1888.[1]
