Sione Tovo (footballer)
Sione Tovo (born 6 April 1986) is an association footballer from Tonga. He is right footed and plays as a central midfielder. Tovo currently plays for Navutoka FC in the Tonga Major League, where he has been since 2007 [1] and has also played for the Tonga national football team.
International career[edit]
Tovo made his debut for Tonga on 30 August 2007 in a 2–1 loss to Samoa. He won his second cap against American Samoa on 2 September 2007 in a 4–0 win, and played his third international match in the 4–1 loss to Vanuatu two days later.[2] All three matches were played in Apia, Samoa and were qualifiers for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
