The Sipu River is the principal tributary of the West Banas River, located in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan and the Banaskantha district of Gujarat, India. It originates from the Sirohi and Mount Abu hills, making it an integral part of the region's geographical landscape.[1]
Course
Approximately 30% of the direct runoff from the majestic Mount Abu hills finds its way into the Sipu River, while the remaining 70% flows into the West Banas River. This division of runoff showcases the significant role that the Sipu River plays in the hydrological system of the region.
