Sixth Bus (Croatian: Šesti autobus) is upcoming Croatian war film directed by Eduard Galić, action war drama based on a true event during the biggest conflict on European soil since the Second World War during the Battle of Vukovar[2][3]
Plot[edit]
The film follows the search of the young American journalist Olivia (Zala Đurić) for the truth about her missing father in a biggest conflict on European soil since World War Two, Battle for Vukovar during the Croatian War of Independence 1991. The first part of the movie is about the trial for war crimes in Belgrade and the romance between the journalist Olivia and Josip from Vukovar (Marko Petrić). Second part of the movie follow the war events from the fall of the Vukovar on the very end of 1991, through Josip's personal memories of events related to the war.
The focus of the film is a bus with about fifty veterans taken from the Vukovar war hospital, whose fate is unknown because it disappeared somewhere in the chaos of the massacre at Ovčara and Velepromet. [1]
