Skaffolder generates code from technical documentation, supporting market standards like OpenAPI 3.0. The generated code is a fully working application, customizable to meet the business needs.
It supports many programming languages enabling software developers to save up to 40% of the time and cost in developing web or mobile applications.

Skaffolder supports many programming languages, it provides a template for each supported technologies.
The templates are all integrated with Docker, Docker-compose and Swagger docs.
It is possible to create a custom template from scratch supporting any programming language or customize the existing one to fit the user’s guidelines.

Multi-template[edit]
Skaffolder can use multiple templates for each project. This allows a developer to generate the same application in many programming languages, or technologies, within minutes and run a benchmark between different technologies.
Web interface[edit]
Skaffolder provides a web interface to define APIs, database models and pages of the web application. It also provides a read-only specs page to share within the team or with customers.

Skaffolder-CLI[edit]
Skaffolder provides a command-line tool to generate code and define specs. It is open source and available as an npm (Node Package Manager) package.

VS Code Extension[edit]
Skaffolder has a VSCode extension that developers can use to interact with Skaffolder without leaving their integrated development environment or IDE, allowing developers to avoid switching tools and having a visual interface locally to define APIs and databases.

Skaffolder was founded by Luca Carducci in 2018 in Rome, Italy, the company moved to Austin, Texas in 2019.
