Skip Shea is an American filmmaker, writer, artist and actor from Uxbridge, Massachusetts. He was nominated for an Emmy as a producer on season 2 for Beacon Hill the Series. He initially adapted the book and wrote season 1 which was also nominated. His first feature-length movie is Trinity (2016 film). Trinity was inspired in part by writer-director Skip Shea's own experiences with clergy abuse.[1] His second feature Seeds won the Rondo Hatton Award for Best Indie Feature in 2020.[2] His first film award was for “Ave Maria”, “Interiora Horror Fest”, 2013, Rome, Italy.[3]

  • 2012 First horror short Microcinema was a Rondo Hatton Award runner up.[7]
  • October 2013 A Link to the Interiora Horror Fest in Rome, Italy-short Ave Maria won the Audience Award for Best Film.[8]
  • 2016 Skip Shea's First Feature Trinity is released.[9]
  • Some of the awards of note are Best Actress for Lynn Lowry at the HorrorHound Film Festival and Best Drama at the Buffalo Dreams and Fantastic Festival.[10]
  • In 2010 Shea was nominated for a DayTime Emmy for his work as a producer on Beacon Hill season 2. he co-wrote season 1. It was nominated for OUTSTANDING LIMITED DRAMA SERIES.[11]
  • Second feature SEEDS won the Rondo Hatton Award for Best Independent Film[12] and the Outstanding Horror Award at the Buffalo Dreams and Fantastic Festival.[13]
  • 2021 Screened Trinity (2016 film) at House of Affirmation.
