Subramonian Narayanan known as Skye Rider (born 17 December 2001) is a Canadian-Indian singer, songwriter and musician. After writing his first song in early 2017, he began to be more passionate towards his love of music. Being inspired by artists like Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi, Skye independently released his debut single the pain on May 2020.[3]
Early life
Skye was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India and then moved to Minsk, Belarus where he was introduced to his love of music by his school music teacher. He then joined the school band called Lucky Q and started his musical path.[4] After showing potential in the school talent show, he then auditioned for the school's rendering of the musical Oliver!. Taking on the major singing role motivated him to stay connected to music.
