Skyward Flight is a collection of the three science fiction novellas Sunreach, ReDawn, and Evershore, cowritten by Brandon Sanderson and Janci Patterson. The stories in the novellas take place in the Skyward universe, chronologically taking place at the same time as the events in the third novel in the series, Cytonic. The novellas were released separately in 2021, and will be rereleased as a novella collection in April 2022.
Unlike the novels in the Skywards series, which are mainly told from the perspective of main protagonist Spensa Nightshade, the Skyward Flight novellas are each told from the perspective of a separate supporting character. Sunreach is told from the perspective of FM, ReDawn is told from the perspective of the alien Alanik, and Evershore is told from the perspective of Jorgen Weight. The novellas are chronologically sequential, and could be considered a novel collectively.
