Slayy Point, is an Indian YouTube channel , created and hosted by Abhyudaya Mohan and Gautami Kawale.[1] They make comedic roasting videos, skits and vlogs on internet things.[2][3] They also have a gaming channel named Slay pop.[4]
YouTube career[edit]
They initially made movie reviews and cricket analysis videos,[5] where presently they create comedy videos on the social media topics with a second channel, Slay pop.[6] They have hosted Netflix India's YouTube show Now Memeing,[7] reviewing memes and comments and also hosted YouTube fanfare a few times.[8]
During the COVID 19 situation they Collab with Mithilesh Patankar aka Mythpat did a four days long charity livestream.[9]
On June 25, 2022, Abhyudaya and Gautami represented India at Vidcon in Los Angeles, where the world's leading digital creators and their fans meet.[10]
Binod[edit]
On June 25, 2020, Abhyudaya and Gautami uploaded a video entitled "Why Indian Comments Section is Garbage (BINOD)", in which they were making fun of some of the comments in the comments section of their YouTube channel, where a user named Binod Tharu only commented with the word Binod. This started a trend on the internet and got viral, social media platforms were inundated with a number of Binod memes, and the trend only continued to grow as several companies and brands even police departments joined the trend.[11] [12] [13]
