Toby Terrance Davis (born April 01, 1998), known professionally as Smoke AO, is an American rapper from California. He rose to fame upon releasing his single "Numbers" in 2017, which has since reached nearly 8 million views on SoundCloud. He is best known for his song "Numbers" and his most recent song "Cartier Wrist" featuring Lil B released in March 2019, which has achieved nearly 100,000 plays on SoundCloud. His Debut Project "Gas Station" came out in January 2018.[1]
Early life[edit]
AO was born in 1998 in San Francisco[2]AO Began pursuing music in summer 2016 after various troubles in his personal life. AO released his first song "Numbers" on March 27, 2017.[3]
Career[edit]
AO was 18 years old when he released the Audio Clip for the single "Numbers" in 2017 on his SoundCloud featuring instrumentals from Russian Rap Duo KAIF:ON. He Continued releasing singles in 2017.[4] His debut project, Gas Station, was released on January 29, 2018. It includes 4 songs and features only Vocals from Smoke AO, The Project features production from Taylor Gang Entertainment Producer RMBJustize and AO's Frequent Collaborator Solow Music. In April 2019 he released the music video for his Single "Cartier Wrist" featuring Lil B.
