Snap Finger Click is a British video game developer based in Brighton, England known for creating multiplayer party games, including It’s Quiz Time.[1][2] and Family Feud.[3]

History[edit]

The studio was founded in November 2015 by Martijn van der Meulen and Ed Gladwin, former employees of SIE London Studio who met whilst working on PlayStation Home.[4]

In January 2016, Snap Finger Click released their first title ACT IT OUT! A Game of Charades on PlayStation 4.[5][6] It was later ported to Wii U,[7][8] and then re-released as ACT IT OUT XL! for PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch featuring updated content and Twitch integration, allowing viewers of live-streams to enter their answers into the chat.[9][10]

In November 2017, Snap Finger Click released their second game, It's Quiz Time, a trivia party game using smart devices as controllers, published by Vision Games Publishing.[11][12][13]

In June 2018, Snap Finger Click released their third party game, Awkward.[14][15]

In 2020, Snap Finger Click developed Family Feud, a video game based on the game show Family Feud, which was published by Ubisoft.[16] It was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.[17]

The studio is currently made up of several former employees of Relentless Software who developed the Buzz! quiz series of video games.[18]
