Sno Babies is a 2020 American drama film written by Mike Walsh and directed by Bridget Smith. It stars Katie Kelly, Paola Andino, Mike Lombardi and Shannan Wilson and follows 2 suburban private school girls that hide their heroin addiction from their parents and friends.

Sno Babies was released via Better Noise Films in the United States via video on demand on September 29, 2020.

Premise[edit]

SNO BABIES depicts the grim realities of addiction and its effects on families. Kristen and Hannah are likeable, college-bound teens - and heroin addicts - hiding their plight behind the façade of middle-class suburbia.[1]

In October 2018, it was announced that Katie Kelly and Paola Andino had joined the cast of the film, with Bridget Smith directing from a screenplay Mike Walsh wrote via Philly Born Films[3] In early 2019 Allen Kovac’s Better Noise Films picked up the drama, finished production and readied it for 2020 release.[4] The trailer for the film was released in late July 2020 .[5]

Better Noise Films’ share of profits from the film is being donated to The Global Recovery Initiatives Foundation . who help provide resources for long term recovery[6]. The Amy Winehouse Foundation became a beneficiary of the film in August 2020, with Mitch Winehouse becoming a spokesman for the project. [7]

Sno Babies was released through video on demand worldwide on September 29, 2020 .[8] The film was originally scheduled to be released in theaters, but was released on demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Though critics reviews were mixed, fan reviews have rated it really highly[9]

Soundtrack[edit]

The film’s soundtrack[10] was released on September 4, 2020 via Better Noise Music. It features Sixx:A.M., Bad Wolves, Cory Marks, From Ashes To New and Escape The Fate [11]

A highlight of the Soundtrack is the all-star release of SIXX:A.M. Presents: Artists For Recovery release “Maybe It’s Time” (feat. Corey Taylor, Joe Elliott, Brantley Gilbert, Ivan Moody, Slash, AWOLNATION, Tommy Vext).[12]
