The Snows Motor Group is an automotive retail business based in southern England. The original company bearing the Snows name was Snows Business Forms, and was an office supplies and sales operation. It was founded in 1962, by Geoff Snows. In 1979, the company invested in the St. James Toyota Centre, and changed its focus to the motor trade.
The Snows Motor Group is a private limited company, with franchised dealerships representing Abarth, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Citroën, Fiat, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Lotus, Mazda, Mercedes Benz Vans, MINI, Peugeot, SEAT, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen Commercials, and Volvo. The business is spread across 49 motor dealerships, 4 Approved Service Centres, and 11 multi-franchise used car and van centres in locations across southern and south west England.
In 2013, Snows Motor Group was named one of the ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ by The Daily Telegraph.
Business founder Geoff Snows died in 2017, at the age of 85. On his retirement as Chairman of the Group in 2007, he was succeeded by his son, Stephen Snows, and the business continues to be family run.
