Snowtab in the Void is a 2018 web series created by the YouTuber, SnowTubes. The series consists of 17 episodes as of January 16, 2019.
It is written by Ryan Jay and edited using the software Sony Vegas 15, a website called FromTextToSpeech.com provides the voices in the show. The show is a mix of comedy, thriller and supernatural genres, but it is mostly praised for it's horror/supernatural themes. The show follows Snowtab, stuck in a void for unknown reasons, he thinks he's alone, but is he really?
Production[edit]
On August 17, 2018, SnowTubes renewed a second season for Snowtab in the Void, which will contain 12 episodes. SnowTubes said that season 2 is longer because he wants to create more slice of life stories, but will still strive to develop the plot. On September 1, 2018, Snowtab in the Void's first season came to a close. On September 12, 2018, season two began with the episode. "Rebirth".
On September 28, 2018, SnowTubes announced that there would be only 4 seasons in Snowtab in the Void, with an unknown number of specials, SnowTubes also expressed interest in doing some 1 minute long shorts for the series.
On October 17, 2018 SnowTubes released the first episode of a new series, Snowtab in the Void Discussions, the series kicked off with "Seeing Red Discussion", at the end of the episode SnowTubes announced that during October he's gonna release discussions for the past episodes of the series as well.
On November 24, 2018, SnowTubes announced that a five-part special event, titled "A Void of Answers", would release during December 2018, the episodes included are episodes 5-9. On November 26, 2018, SnowTubes announced that the event would start on December 17, 2018 and end on December 21, 2018.
On December 20, 2018 it was announced that a third season has been renewed. Not much is known about it yet, but what is known is that it'll premiere in Early 2019, and will contain 16 episodes.
On December 28, 2018 it was announced that the four part season two finale will premiere on January 6, 2018. It will be called "Triangle For Tabsnow", it also announced that Season 2 will be one episode longer than when it was originally announced.
On January 14, 2019, it was announced that a half hour special event titled "The Return of Mr. Triangle" will end season 2 and the "Triangle For Tabsnow" event. This will premiere on January 28, 2019, another thing that will be featured in this episode, is its own variation of the intro, titled "Battle", and also contains its own music, different from the "Voids" intro. On January 16, 2019 the episode was rescheduled to February 2, 2019.
Characters[edit]
The show has a number of memorable characters, including the protagonist Snowtab characters, and the villain Triangle characters. All characters are accompanied with their own text-speech voice.
Snowtab[edit]
Snowtab is the main and titular protagonist of the series, he debuts in the first episode of show, "Pilot", and appears in every episode apart from three exceptions ("Giant White Space", "I Am Watching" and "Bootes Void"). He is a charitable character who likes to do things for others, his best friend is Tabsnow, and his training partner is Gingtab. He hates Mr. Triangle and is the first to be fooled by the nice facade he plays. In the season 1 finale episode, "Voids", Snowtab is sent from the white void into the Bootes Void, where he reforms with a new, more refined look. In season 2, Snowtab takes Tabsnow into his void so they can be void mates and eventually best friends.
Tabsnow[edit]
Tabsnow is the second main character of the series and first debuts in the season 1 episode, "Giant White Space". He appears in every episode apart from 3 exceptions, ("Pilot", "In My Dreams" and "Self Aware" (He appears on video in this one however)). Tabsnow is known for being troubled about his missing brother which has been the subject of some episodes, he states in his debut episode that he used to be a scientist. In "Rebirth", he moves in with Snowtab into the Space Void, to become his void mate. In "Bootes Void", Tabsnow reforms with a new look that looks like Snowtab's current look.
Gingtab[edit]
Gingtab is the third main character of the series and first debuts in the season 1 finale episode, "Voids" in a brief scene. In his debut appearance, he is shown to be quite rude and dismissive, but when he returns in the season 2 episode, "Seeing Red", he is shown to be quite gullible and seems to not like being around people, to the point of trusting the wrong person (Mr. Triangle). In "Alone Together" he is taught by Greytab that he can socialize and be able to enjoy himself, he accepts this and promises to try. In "Sleepover", Gingtab's hate for Snowtab is resolved when he finds out about Snowtab's heroic side.
Greytab/Greysnow[edit]
Greytab or Greysnow is the fourth main character of the series and debuts in the season 1 finale episode, "Voids". Greytab is his debuted form, he appears to be quite knowledgeable, and knows a lot about the situation he's undergoing. When he returns in "Alone Together", he seems to embody the same character traits, but heavily exaggerated. In "Pride", we learn that Greytab is actually being possessed by Mr. Triangle, which explains his knowledge and ability to cast certain spells. He is actually Greysnow when not being possessed. Tabsnow is heavily suspicious of Greytab at this point, and for good reason. Several hints have lead to the possibility that Greysnow is Tabsnow's missing twin.

Season 2 (2018-19)[edit]
At the end of the season 1 finale, a second season was confirmed. 12 episodes (13 as "The Return of Mr. Triangle was made Double-Length) have been confirmed for the season, with 5 of said episodes being written by the fan base. The season shall begin during September. On September 1, 2018, Season 2 began with the episode, "Rebirth". On December 29, 2018, it was confirmed that the season would end on February 2, 2019 with the episode, "The Return of Mr. Triangle", a half hour long episode. Season 2 has released with a different style than season 1 did, the last 9 episodes of the season were released within two story arcs: "A Void of Answers" and "Triangle For Tabsnow", it has been confirmed that season 3 will do the same thing.

On January 10, 2019 a one-hour special event titled "The Exorcism of Greytab" was announced to premiere the season, these episodes would include the already revealed "Time and Space" two parter and two unknown episode titles. On January 15, 2019 it was announced that Season 3 would contain 18 episodes.

Specials (2018-19)[edit]
On November 19, 2018, the creator announced that a huge amount of the future episodes would be released in chunks which would be named "Specials", the first started on December 17, 2018 and ended on December 21, 2018, it was titled 'A Void of Answers'. On December 28, 2018, he announced that the second special will end season two and would be released in full on January 6, 2019, it will be called "Triangle For Tabsnow". On January 10, 2019, a one-hour special event titled "The Exorcism of Greytab" was announced and is the confirmed season 3 premiere event which will premiere on June 22, 2019. A future documentary styled special, called "Inside the Void" has been given a Late 2019 release date.
