Soap on a rope is a type of soap that is attached to a cord or rope. The cord makes it easy to hang or carry the soap. The soap is typically used in the shower or bath. The rope helps to prevent the soap from slipping or getting lost.[1]
Soap on a rope was invented in the late 1940s after soap makers realized they could mold soap around any object.
