The Social Distortion Summer Tour is a concert tour that took place in 2013. Social Distortion kicked off the tour with two appearances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 14 and 21.[needs update] Some of the dates on the tour were rescheduled shows from fall 2012 that were cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. The band also made appearances at the annual Hootenanny at Oak Valley Ranch in California, their first as Social Distortion since 2007. Mike Ness made an appearance at the 2008 festival, but he was touring with his solo band. The band appeared at the Free Press Summer Fest in Houston, Texas, and at North by Northeast in Toronto.
