Un sociotype A sociotype is a categorization of groups of individuals based on common characteristics such as culture or the quality of individuals.[1]


Here are a few examples:

  • Sociostyle is which bring together individuals with similar behaviors, lifestyles, living conditions and opinions;
  • Social classes which are defined by groups of individuals sharing common socio-economic characteristics;
  • Psychological types categorizing in a qualitative manner individual differences linked to their personality traits;
  • etc.
