Sohibanoo Zolghadr (born May 11, 1977, Tehran) is an Iranian actress.
Biography[edit]
She studied architecture at Tehran University. Sohibanoo Zolghadr began her artistic career as an actress and later moved towards directing. She studied directing at the Cultural and Artistic Training Center of Darolfonoun and under Ismail Fallahpour. She also attended acting courses with Amin Tarakh and a writing course with Keyumars Pourahmad. Zolghadr studied acting at the Potlatch Rome School in Italy under Eugene Baba. She is a member of the Iranian Cinema Producers Guild. Her theater activities include directing twelve plays in Rome and Milan under the direction of Pino from Italy.[1]
Sohibanoo Zolghadr first gained attention with a short film selected by Darolfonoun Academy. She began her artistic career with the film "Broken Heart" and later, at the age of 28 in 2007, appeared in the film "Dinosaur" directed by Parviz Sheikh Tadi. In 2009, she acted in the television film "The Confused Clock" directed by Farzad Moatamen and in 2010 played a role in the film "A Separation" directed by Asghar Farhadi. Her television debut was in 2010 with the series "Open Parenthesis," followed by her role in the 2012 Ramadan special series titled "Silver Man."[2][3]

She is the author of the book "Big and Small" for children and a member of the Children's Book Writers Council.
