Solitude Productions

The Solitude Productions is a record label from Russia. It was founded in 2005, to be specialized in the doom metal scene, as widely spread as possible, from traditional doom to funeral doom. They were the first doom metal band in their country as well as the most recognized doom label in Eastern Europe.

Because a lot of the records released produced by Solitude Productions turned out not to be fit under “doom metal” (but more like variations of gothic metal and melodic death metal), the label decided to correct positioning of those bands’ genres. As they created the sublabel BadMoodMan Music by the end of 2006, to be able to release the records that did not fit the main branch, but still belonged to the dark scene.
