Some Great Reward Tour was a 1984/1985 concert tour by English electronic group Depeche Mode in support of the act's fourth studio album, Some Great Reward, which was released in September 1984.[1] On this tour Depeche Mode visited Switzerland, Hungary, Greece and Poland for the first time.
The tour was the band's longest to date. A concert held at Alsterdorfer Sporthalle in Hamburg, West Germany, was recorded and issued as a video release titled The World We Live In and Live in Hamburg in 1985. The European release featured 16 songs, while the North American version featured 11 songs. The video has not yet seen a DVD release.
The American synth pop band, Book of Love was the opening band for all 15 tour dates of the North American leg of the tour.

Note #1: "Ice Machine" was performed from the start of the tour until the Tokyo concert on April 12, 1985. It was replaced by "Shake the Disease" until the end of the tour.
Note #2: On December 11, 1984 in Böblingen "Shout" and "Just Can't Get Enough" were played. A firing of a tear gas bomb during the performance of "See You", caused the concert to be interrupted.[4]
Note #3: There was a special repertoire for the Celbrate festivals in Torhout, Werchter, Guéhenno and Athens. The list was "Something to Do", "If You Want", "People Are People", "Leave in Silence", "Shake the Disease", "Blasphemous Rumours", "Told You So", "Master and Servant", "Everything Counts", "Photographic" and "Just Can't Get Enough".
