"Something for the Weekend" is a single by English producer Ben Westbeech, from his album There's More to Life Than This, of the same year.[1] It was first released on 30 August 2011 in the United Kingdom, and then from 23 September in the rest of Europe.
The song is an uplifting nu jazz and jazz house track, also displaying disco influences; it quickly became popular upon its release.[2][3]
It has been chosen as the opening theme for I Love the Weekend, a programme by Italian station Radio Capital.
