Sons of Chaos is a historically inspired 2019 comic book limited series written and created by Chris Jaymes with art by Ale Aragon and a cover by Dave Palumbo.
The comic is a fictional retelling of events leading up to the Greek War of Independence in 1821, from the perspective of Markos Botsaris and Ali Pasha.[1][2][3]
Publication
Each page of the novel is illustrated as a double-page spread, making the individual pages twice as wide as a normal comic.[4]
Sons of Chaos was published by IDW Publishing and Penguin Random House, in July 2019 as an oversized, full color hardback graphic novel.[5][6]
Synopsis
The son of a Greek leader, Markos Botsaris, was taken prisoner as a child and raised within the dungeons of an Ottoman Pasha, Ali Pasha of Ioannina. Ten years later, he escapes and leads his people to revolution.[7][8]
