Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (ソニーセミコンダクタソリューションズ株式会社, Sonī Semikondakuta Soryūshonzu Kabushiki-gaisha) is a Japanese semiconductor company (integrated device manufacturer), which conducts research, development, design, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and customer services for complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors, charge-coupled devices (CCDs), large-scale integration systems (LSIs) and other semiconductor devices. Wholly owned by the Tokyo-based conglomerate Sony Group Corporation, it encompasses Sony's semiconductor and microelectronic device business operations called "Imaging & Sensing Solutions (I&SS)."
